Learn to Shoot or Freshen Your Skills

Our Pre-CHL class is perfect for new shooters, those out of practice, or those just wanting a little basic instruction and peace-of-mind. Offered as a one-on-one private lesson, the Pre-CHL is a basic handgun technique and safety course will teach you safe handgun handling practices, proper shooting technique, and prepare you for the shooting portion of the CHL qualification, if you desire. We'll help you with your stance, grip, technique and run you through a mock qualification so you'll know just what to expect.

 

The Concealed Handgun License class deals mainly with the laws and responsibilities involving concealed carry. The shooting portion of the class is a qualification only. You'll be expected to know how to operate your weapon safely and accurately. Any unsafe behavior, such as pointing your loaded weapon at your courteous instructor, will likely result in disqualification.

Pre-CHL Private Lesson (Basic Handgun Safety & Technique) Two hour classroom plus range, basic shooting skills, mock CHL qualification The Pre-CHL Group Private Lesson is taught in a one-on-one setting. This allows the instructor to give personalized attention to the student, working on specific problems and developing basic shooting skills. When complete, the student is prepared to pass the CHL qualification. Student provides guns and ammo (rentals available).   The curriculum is flexible and, although we begin with the basics, we'll move on to more advanced topics if time permits.

Pre-CHL Private Lesson (Basic Handgun Safety & Technique), guns and ammo included Two hour classroom plus range, basic shooting skills, mock CHL qualification This is exactly the same as the Pre-CHL Private Lesson, except we provide guns and ammo. All you have to do is show up at the range. We'll provide you with 5 popular concealed carry weapons and ammunition for use during the lesson. You'll spend at least an hour in the classroom and another hour shooting different weapons, learning the functionality and differences of each type. This is the perfect class for those who don't yet own a gun, but are interested in shooting and possibly applying for their CHL.   The curriculum is flexible and, although we begin with the basics, we'll move on to more advanced topics if time permits.

Private Shooting Lesson (per hour) If you want to brush up on your skills, or you want to learn to shoot and aren't particularly interested in working toward your CHL, we can provide per hour Private Shooting Lessons tailored to your needs. Lessons cover classroom and range training, including firearm safety, basic shooting skills, and mock CHL qualification, if desired. We'll work on the specific skills the student needs or desires.   Student provides gun and ammo. Rentals are available. Two hour minimum.
